Following a fantastic (if not tiring) first week, and even an eventful weekend, I started week 2 off by re-doing the feature image for the rose beauty article. I used Photoshop to create the collage, and it turned out a lot better after only using 8 of the products instead of all 10. I got them to fit much better. I also did some more transcribing. I wore my white peplum top with blue flowers (it reminds me of a china pattern) and my trusty black velvet skirt, and I gave myself a ‘smokey eye’. I felt very glamorous.
On Wednesday I had to remember my Valentine’s present for my friend Henna who I work with (we all picked a name out of a hat, and I got her! Lucky really as she’s one of the only people I know) and I made her a bracelet with my jewellery stuff, plus a pair of earrings. I also included another bracelet and key ring already made. Finally I bought her a card and some nail varnish from H&M (gotta love working next to Oxford Street). I left it in the office as I wasn’t there on Thursday, as that was Matalan’s day. I wore my Barbie dress and black jeans and my dalmation print faux fur jacket with hood and ears! (so cute). And my jobs for that day was more transcribing and finding some Instagram users that are worth following over Fashion Month. New York Fashion week started yesterday and I’m already behind in catching up with the shows! Anyway that was fun 🙂 and I even managed to get out ontime and caught the 5.27pm train home. Woo!
Now, today, I’ve been doing more transcribing. I am still enjoying my placement, and everyone is still being mega nice, I just haven’t done as much writing as I’d like to do. I was hoping that I’d get to do more so I asked my boss if there were any other tasks that need doing and she got me to research top beauty brands that celebrities, models and make up artists all use during fashion week. So I did that until I went home. I wore my cream Primark dress with a zip all the way down the front, my lucky dress!! Plus I registered for Fashion Week! Hopefully they accept it
More next Friday lovelies!
