Hey cupcakers, time for another pick for our regular track of the week feature.
This week's pick is a more recent song released in April this year, it's 'Over Yet' by Hayley Williams.
Hayley Williams is best known as the lead singer of rock band Paramore but this song is from her first solo album. 'Over Yet' has a more synth-pop sound than the more rocky styling of Paramore's music but its fresh, catchy and fun. A slightly humorous video was released on YouTube of Hayley doing a kind of home workout to the song with a banner behind her saying 'Is it over yet?' clearly referring to the lockdown that everyone found themselves in due to the worldwide pandemic.
