Hi Cupcakers, time for another track of the week post.
This week my pick is a song from the early 90s it's 'To be with you' by Mr.Big.
Mr.Big were very much a hard rock American band but decided to go unplugged and acoustic with this ballad that reached number 3 in the UK charts and made it to the top spot in the US back in 1991. It is quite a cute and kind of cheesy love song and was apparently based on a true story experienced by lead sing Eric Martin from his college days and about a crush he had on girl he liked at the time.
One of my favourite parts of this song are the epic harmonies on the chorus, you could easily see this song working a capella.
